Grayscale files for the first US spot WLD ETF
Grayscale has filed a Form S-1 with the SEC to launch a spot Worldcoin (WLD) ETF, proposed to trade on Nasdaq under the ticker GWLD. It would be the first US exchange-traded product tied to the biometric identity network.
An ETF wrapper would give institutions regulated exposure to WLD without touching custody, wallets or self-managed keys, opening the asset to allocators that cannot hold tokens directly.
More significant than the flows is the framing. A filing of this kind treats proof of human as an investable infrastructure category alongside the major crypto networks, rather than an experiment.
Regulatory scrutiny of biometric data collection remains the principal risk and will shape both the approval timeline and how the network operates in individual markets.
We read this as the beginning of the public markets chapter for verified human identity, and it is one of the reasons HumanityOne is building toward a listed structure of its own.
